Aaron Bigby heads up the firm’s Employment Law section. The firm’s practice consists of defending management in employment related charges before state and federal agencies, and defending lawsuits filed in state or federal court. Aaron is often called upon to immediately conduct investigations of claims made regarding allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistle blower claims, disability accommodations, and employee privacy issues, and investigations concerning improper business practices.
Aaron’s practice also includes advice to management on law in the workplace, including proper compliance with local, state and federal statutes, terminations, medical leave, and employee handbook and related issues.
Alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration, is often used to resolve employee/employer issues when such forms of dispute resolution are helpful to our clients; however, when resolution is not attainable through arbitration and/or mediation, the firm’s lawyers have obtained favorable verdicts on behalf of management in cases throughout the state of Washington.
