Mark is a past chairperson of the Aviation Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association, and is frequently asked to speak to school district personnel and coaches on sports law and applicable risk management techniques.

He is the author of “Sports Torts: A New Approach to Minimizing Sports Injuries and Damage Claims Arising Out of High School Athletics” and “Student Injuries During Physical Education Classes and Extracurricular Activities: A Survey of Potential Tort Liability for Public School Districts.”
